It does stretch out which is totally normal, but as somebody said it also does take back its normal form and shape. Something that will help with that is vaginal exercises, you can also buy cream to aid with this, as well as at a sex shop stainless steal balls that help tighten your muscles back to normal!

Not necessarily like a cave......your vagina is a muscle and will somewhat go back into it's normal state, providing you had a normal birth without forceps and did not have to have a high grade episiotomy. There is hope, however. There are plenty of surgeries that can fix the problem.
It is NEVER the same.
