Pubic hair problem?!

Question: Ok, so last year I started shaving my pubic hair... Not all of it, but most of it. Anyway, I decided to let it grow back, it's been like four or five days since I've shaved down there and it's starting to get really itchy... Does anyone know why?

P.s. It was not itchy until I STOPPED shaving.

It is a very sensitive area down there.

As the hair grows back it irritates the sensitive skin. It is normal for it to be uncomfortable or itchy.

That should go away after the hair gets a little longer again.

I don't shave completely anymore - just trim up - for that very reason.

:-)

it's growing in and it's going to itch like hell.

Sorry - that sucks.

You can't do anything. Baby powder might help a little.

Good luck - you just have to wait it out!

Then ends of the short hairs are much stiffer than the ends of longer hairs. give it sometime and they stop itching.

because, when the hair grows back it, starts to iche because it rubs up against your underwear.

how old are u just asking? u know bit more info. ive shaved down there and it never been itchy for me. well ive only dune it twice

yeah, thats normal. try some baby powder, or just keep shaving!

well this happens to me too, so i really don't like shaving it but I usually do, just try to shave as much as possible, it will prevent it from itching, and as soon as it starts to grow back shave it again....sorry not really sure what else to say but hope it helps! <3sparx

it's normal... the best thing is to keep shaving it.. or just trim.. if you keep shaving after a few weeks it will stop itching even when you don't shave often...if you trim it wont itch again
