Does anyone can help me to prevent yeast infection.. please help me.?!

Question: I dont really understand how I get a yeast infection. Sometimes, I noticed a white like paste sticky discharge from my vagina and itchy. Also, during sex I feel painful which is very uncomfortable. Sometimes, the outer side of my vagina become reddish and painful when I urinate.. I am so worried maybe this is the cause why I have spontaneous miscarriage.

It sounds to me like you have a yeast infection. Go see your doctor to get a definitive diagnosis, and a medicine stronger than over-the-counter treatments.

A yeast infection will sometimes cause your vagina to smell like yeast or beer. If it smells fishy or really foul, you probably have a different kind of infection.

Ways to prevent yeast infections:

Wear cotton panties. They let your skin breathe more than synthetic fabrics do.

Wear a nightgown and no undies to bed. This lets even more air circulate "down there."

Avoid tight pants and pantyhose.

Replace pads and pantyliners every four hours. Wear them only when necessary. Use unscented menstrual products.

Avoid frequent or prolonged use of antibiotics. Take them only when necessary.

Stay in a normal weight range.

Dry yourself gently but thoroughly, front to back, after using the toilet. Drops of urine backing into the vaginal area may cause yeast infections.

Eat yogurt with live and active cultures. (Yogurt will not treat a yeast infection, but it can help prevent them.)

Take an acidophilus caplet each day.

If you get the infections frequently, see your doctor. Over-the-counter treatments can grow ineffective with too-frequent use. A doctor can prescribe a stronger cream or a pill, and make sure an underlying condition (like diabetes) isn't causing the infections.

Using a steroidal asthma inhaler or taking chemical birth control can predispose you to yeast infections.

you need to go to your doctor and get a diagnosis from them to make sure its a yeast infection. It sounds like one but if they keep reoccuring like that, then you may have another medical condition that needs to be gotten under control that you don't know you have such as diabetes as an example.

You should do a yeast cleanser available at a health food store. After this, steer clear of foods containing yeast and sugar. The yeast is present throughout your entire body. Sugar feeds yeast. Not only will this prevent the yeast infections, you will also be much healthier. HOpe this helps. It takes alot of will power, but is much worth it.

Are you sure it's a yeast infection? There are many health issues that could cause a white discharge. Are you incredibly itchy? If so, it 'may' be a yeast-related thing. I think your doctor is the only one who could and should help with this. If it turns out to be a yeast infection, you can get Acidophilus tablets which will put your body's acid/PH levels back in balance. It's good to take these when you're on anti-biotics. With regard to pain during sex, I have endometriosis and it is a common cause of this pain but there are many other possibly causes (pelvic inflammatory disease, etc). I would recommend a check-up with your doctor as soon as possible.

Have you talked to your Gyno Dr. about this? It could be yeast infection or a bacteria infection. You need to know. He can take a swab and test it. Don't be embarrassed to ask. They see this type of thing and worse every day.
I have a friend that had the similar problem, without the red rash though. She went to the Gyno, they cultured it. She now sleeps in lose boxer shorts as every women needs to air out sometimes. She now has no more problem.
Your problem sounds a bit more than that. Please see your Dr. Also, eating yogurt helps yeast problems and I know this sounds gross and weird but if it is a yeast problem, you can put plain yogurt, no flavor or fruit, on a tampon and put it in there. So that a few times a day. I have another friend that had problems for years with yeast infections, went on all kinds of meds and finally a Dr. told her to do that and it worked. She swears by it.
So see your Dr. first. You need to know so the infection or whatever won't get worse.
