Thats normal. Our bodies are constantly changing and it will take awhile before your periods regulate themselves and get on schedule.

Your period may start off light and pink then gradully become red then bright red then it will taper off and become darker red then brown and then light till you have no more flow.

Everyone is different to a point but if you get concerned remember to ask your Dr.

It takes a while for your body to develop a schedule for it. Brown is just "dry" blood.

Periods are rarely predictable. Once you begin your period, it takes your body awhile to adjust, aqnd that may result in erradict periods. Brown blood is old blood. It is nothing to be really be concerned about, its just your body getting rid of it all. It your period continues to be erradict, go see your OBGYN.

No need for you to panic, that is totally normal in the beginning.

It is usual to have such troubles during menarche. You do not have to worry, it is only a passing phase.

hehe im on my second period too, sometimes it looks red and sometimes it looks brown, i was also suppose to get it on tuesday (this week)..today, but got it this past friday....they just take like a year or longer to get normal, everythings fine=]

That happens to anyone, and the brown goo is just blood that turns color if you let it stay there and havent changed your pads in 3 hrous or so.
nothing to worry about.

Periods don't like to be on time sometimes. Sometimes they are late, sometimes they are early. As you get older, you will know the day it comes...(I do) I don't even keep track. It will usually be the heaviest on the second-third days. Your actual blood color can be Pink, Red or Brown. The slower the flow, the darker it tends to be. It's brown towards the end because your flow has slowed down so much that once it reaches your pad or tampon is basically dried(old) or getting there. It's totally normal, so nor worries :D
