Passed Out during PD?!

Question: I got my period last year the day I moved into my new apartment and it woke me out of my sleep in horrifying pain. I was on the toilet for hours and had extreme hot flashes and felt as though i was going to throw up and pass out at the same time. It never happened again until last month. I was home alone (my husband was at work) and I got my period in the middle of the day. I suddenly became very hot and felt as though I had to use the bathroom for #2 but couldn't go. I got up to call my mom to ask her what to do and the next thing I remember I was faced down on my tile. My mom told me to jump in the shower and place ice cubes in a towel on my head. I was dizzy for a while but it went away completely. I was wondering has anyone ever had this and what it could possibly be. I know I should see a doctor but I don't have medical insurance yet. Please help! THank you all -=D

You better go to the nearest free hospital or free clinic ASAP. Your condition sounds pretty serious if left untreated. Better safe than sorry. Here is a link to search for free health centers. http://ask.hrsa.gov/pc/

You could be pregnant. Some women continue to have periods when they are pregnant. You need to go to a doctor whether you have insurance or not.
