Question: Alright Monday morning i started my period and i did not even know it until i went to the bathroom and i saw blood. So then i had to put a pad in and they are not strong enough so then i had to keep putting new one's in every 1 hour and i don't want to do that! So i was wondering do they make very good pad's? Any recomendations? and i need one that stays in for a full day or something pictures or not pictures. Brands or what!

The best I've found is the Always brand with wings. You can get them for heavier periods as well. You should really not wear the same one all day, because it is not healthy or sanitary to do so. Try to change at LEAST 3-4 times a day if not more.

Buy a bigger quantity absorption pads.

I guess you need super instead of thin

Kotex (if you want it to last a full day, try overnight ones)

Okay first of all there is NO pad that will last a full day, and that would be very unhealthy and not very hygenic!!! I would buy pads that are long "night time" ones with the wings. I also recomend Tampons, the best invention ever for females. If your young talk to your mother or counselor or look up info on the internet about tampons!

If you are having a heavy period you are not going to be able to go a whole day. When my periods were in their heyday I had to change every hour too.

i had the same problem.

i had to where a pad and a tampon at the same time, it works though. get a high-absobent pad like the kind they make for overnight purposes.

try tampax (super) and always pads.

good luck.

put in a tampon AND a pad....it will buy you a couple more hours. Also it helps to buy an 'all night' pad- one of the reeallly long ones' it will spread out the flow. Don't worry, alot of women get reeeaaaallllyyy heavy periods...talk to your doctor about a birth control like YAZ that will make your periods lighter.

You should not leave a pad on all day for sanitary reasons. You should at least change your pad every 2 - 4 hours for sanitary reasons.

you may want to give incontinence pads a try, they tend to be a lot more absorbent (obviously) but they are also thicker so they may be a bit more uncomfortable. I used to buy a store brand, but it took me a little while to find ones I liked since each brand can be different.

Personally, when it comes to literal period pads I never found the thick/normal ones to be more absorbent then the ultra thin ones. I love my stayfree ultra thin max dry pads. Even when I'm bleeding really really heavy they work well for 3-4 hours.

I went through a stage where I had to use both Tampons and pads at the same time to make sure nothing escaped!!!
I buy Libra Super Tampons and normal pads. I hate the feeling of super pads becoz its like wearing something everyone can see
Good luck

Try Always or stayfree with wings. If it stays in all day depends on how heavy your period flows. If it's light ultra thin will work and they're comfortable enough, if it's heavy try maxi pads. note though that its not hygenic to keep on a pad for the whole day and some brands don't have odor protection so be careful to look for that too.
