I have high androgenic levels. How do I deal with this?!?!

Question: I have polycystic ovaries syndrome and one of the symptoms is having high levels of androgenic (masculinizing) hormones. It's sooooo embarrassing since I'm only 13 years old. I guess I can deal with the excess hair, but it's my dark skin that bothers me so badly. I have asian skin so it's pale but i have a farmer's tan and stuff from being out too much. the skin on my neck, groin (the folds between the upper leg and pubic triangle and hell, even around my private parts) and my armpits. How do I deal with this?! I'm so embarrassed!

I talked to my mom about taking some kind of medication to heighten my estrogen levels and turn me back into a GIRL; however, she told me that I'm too young and that all I need is exercise. I'm doing that and I'm very slowly shedding the weight, but very very very slowly, so it's hard to deal with the WRONG physical change sthat are happening to me. I haven't even had my period in over a year! Please help meeeeee.

There are alternative treatments that can sometimes be used to help treat the symptoms of PCOS. I have the link to a site that has some messageboards that might be able to help you find more information. The link is at: http://pcosupport.org

Also, on the site is a link to a section that relates to e-mail lists that can be of even more help. One of them is a list for teens with PCOS.
