This is absolutely normal. Your flow will get lighter after the first couple of days. Unless your pad is really really soaked, there's no need to change it after just one hour. Pads are meant to absorb, and they will absorb even if there is blood in them. Just change every 3-4 hours. Those chunks are clots and are very normal. I know it isn't that pleasant, but you will get used to all this as you continue to have more periods. Just remember that you aren't alone.

Is this your first period? Yes, it is normal for some people. Your period is the lining of your uterus sloughing off, through contractions of your uterus (why you get cramps). Sometimes it sloughs off in small pieces, and sometimes in larger chunks. You will also probably have just a couple of days when the flow is heavier. You might try using a tampon - it is less gross and you won't have to change it as often! Hope this helps!

Chill! It's totally normal. That's just the lining of your uterus, as nasty as it sounds. Give your body time to figure out its flow, if it's heavy or light. Be sure to wear a pad and have extras and be aware of the flow every now and then. If you feel like you need to pee every five minutes, it'sprobably heavya nd you should change every two to four hours.

Sounds like you're just having a heavy flow day. As long as it doesn't last like that for several days straight and you don't feel dizzy or anything, you'll be fine.

The "chunks" were just clots. Everyone gets them.

Yes the chunks, which sort or resemble liver are normal, matter of fact, it happened to me the other day too and it is so gross!!

It doesn't happen all the time, but you will see it a few times throught your mentrual cycles.

ALWAYZ!!! your first and second period is ALWAYZZ the heaviest! by you 5 period you should be nice and easy contrable flow. don't worry i no its gross:-S
