Contraception advice!?!

Question: After my baby is born i am going straight on contraception and need some advice!
I have a latex allergie, and cant seem to find non latex condoms. I have also been on the pill but it made me severly anemic as i bled non stop for 6 months! (and that was taking it properly, the doctor said my body just didnt agree with it!)
what other options are there? What would be the safest for me?
A friend said about an implant thing that you can have put in your arm, what is this? is it any good? is there such thing?
By the way i'm in the UK if this makes a difference!

You might try polyurethane condoms. They're more expensive than the latex ones, but they shouldn't cause allergic reactions. You can buy them online if they aren't available in stores near you:

Implanon is the contraceptive implant. It can cause some side effects, but they often subside several months after you get one:

"Irregular bleeding is the most common side effect for women using the implant. Periods become fewer and lighter for most women
