Period question!!! plz help!!!!?!
Question: ok so im on my period and yesterday i leaked at skool (not enuff 2 anyone 2 rly notice) cuz i was wearing black dance pants, but i dont wanna change my pad at skool b/c ppl might find out and it takes a while,ect. but how can i not leak???? i keep the same pad on all day.

Honestly, you really need to switch to tampons. I know it's a bit intimidating, but pads are so disgusting. I wore pads for almost 30 years and didn't realize how gross they felt until I tried tampons. You're less likely to have an accident and they don't (overtly) smell. Just be sure to change them several times a day so you don't get TSS and only wear a large enough size to cover your flow (see the instructions). Trust me...they're a piece of cake and so much more comfortable and sanitary!
If you insist on wearing one pad the whole day, make sure it is a super absorbant one that has wings. It really is better to change them several times a day. If you don't want people to notice you going to the bathroom to change it, try sticking a pad in your back pocket in the morning, that way you won't have to carry your purse to the bathroom which makes it super obvious.
Use a tampon
i really suggest you change pads but dont keep em in your pocket unless your wearing a hoodie but hon it is good to change every once in a while
it's really better to change it. bacteria can build up and that's not good besides it will smell ect. plz try to change it. it does not take much time to change it. just put one in ur bag. u'll be fine
pads may be disgusting but they are safer. i like to wear two just for extra protection.
you must change your pad....if you insist on leaving the same pad on all day wear a tampon too....You aren't the only girl having their period sweetie...it's part of life...
how old are you? don't be embarrassed to change your pad at school eventually everyone will have there period and some or most probably already do just change your pad plus its bad hygiene to keep it on all day and you might not notice but it starts to smell
They have pads and tampons now that are in tiny packages and as unobtrusive as possible. All women menstruate so it's really nothing to be embarassed about!
Otherwise, I agree with the comments others have made:
- try tampons... they're cleaner
- use a high absorbancy pad with wings
There is also special underwear that are made for periods. You probably can buy them at a store.
NO! dont keep the same pad on allll day! If you have a purse put a pad or two into a small wallet like thing. Ask to go to the bathroom and take your purse. OR change before or after lunch. Plus it can be bad if you keep the same pad on alll day long. that could lead to infections.

Its not healthy to wear the same pad all day, its not hygentic whatsoever. This can lead to infections! Change your pad at least every 4 hours! I sugg. you try a tampon! Just make sure you change these every 8 hours, and wear a little panty liner incase of leaks. With tampons you can tell when your leaking through the tampon, so there will be no accidents. Talk to you mother, or counselor or look up information on the internet, but remember to be safe with tampons because if you leave them in to long they can cause Toxic Shock Syndrome, which is nothing to worry about, if you change often!
Remember, having your period is a completely notmal thing, every girl's going to get it somepoint in they're life. Nothing to be embarrased about. =) best of luck..

you shouldnt wear your pad all day.
if you really do not want to change it and you think that people can here you, ask to go to the nurses office. hopefully she has a saniatray disopal bin there. if not dont change at lunch. either go when noone is in there(during class) or go when every one goes(after recess, lunch). if you go while alot of people go, most people will have no idea that its you. what year are you in. it is normal for girls to get there period around(11-16). most girls will have had at least one period so there is nothing to be worried about

You need to change at school whether you want to or not. It is a matter of hygiene, especially to control odor and possible infection. Honestly, no one should care if you change your pad. If they do, then they are completely immature. You need to change at least every 4 hours. Wear a thick pad with wings in tight underwear, and change during lunch. That should at least get you through the day only having to change one time.
