When you first start your periods they can be very heavy or very light and you may even skip a few months. It will take about one year for the hormones in your body to level out. If you continue bleeding very heavy then you need to talk to your mom and may have to go to the doctor because the heavy bleeding can cause anemia. Cramping is very common and have you mom pick up some over the counter medication to ease the cramps or use a heating pad.

another period question

Ok, you are having some major symptoms due to the newness of the hormonal changes you are going through. Relax. For the cramping, put a heating pad on the tummy. For the stomach aches, eat a bit of tuna or salmon on toast. The tuna or salmon on toast will help with the dizziness, too. Just make sure you drink the recommended 64 oz of water today (not all at once).

Mild exercise will help with all the above, except the dizziness. Maybe sit down and do 3 sets of 10 tummy crunches?

Before next month, though, find out about low blood sugar. That is the likely reason for your bad (not normal) symptoms. Proper diet (like salmon or tuna 1-2 times a week, old fashioned oatmeal 1-2 times a week and no sugar) will help keep the symptoms minimal.

This is absolutely normal. Don't worry you will get used to it.

this is normal....at first it's like that....don't worry u'll get used to it.. good luck gal...

i think its normal try and drink a little more water and more fruit
try tampons its better than pads
