Female incontinence is when a woman has difficulty controlling her bodily funcitons. Usually, this is referring to Urinary functions. It's a fairly common condition - can happen with/during prengancy, after giving birth, after having multiple children, due to a UTI or frequent occurances of UTI's. There can be many other causes, too, such as stress or physiological conditions.

If bad enough, it can be contrilled with drugs like Detrol, Ditropan.

Usually, doctors will start out telling a woman to practice Kegel exercises to tone up the muscles that control urination, before prescribing meds.

I hope this helps!
