Oh dear, it depends on the kind of pill she was taking. generally if you even miss one there is a chance of pregnancy. When you first begin the pill it takes least 14 days to kick in. But like i said it can depend on type of contraception. But yeah there is a chance she may fall pregnant.
10 mins to 30 mins just doesnt cut it.........you should both know about these things if you are having sex

Children should not have sex. This is why.

You were completely unprotected from her getting pregnant.

It takes a month of pills MINIMUM for you to be protected from pregnancy. Teenagers whose bodies are not as regular as adults should plan on 4 months to be sure.

Start worrying and start learning to be responsible - both of you - or stop having sex!

To be fully protected, she would have to be on the pill for an entire 28 day cycle, some literature says 2 weeks, but all the pharmacists I have worked with have always recommended 4 weeks.

Different types of birth control take different lengths of time. However, generally it is at least a week before they take full effects. The hormones have to build up to a certain level in your bloodstream before they start working. Ten minutes definitely isn't enough time for this to happen.

Your girlfriend needs to be more careful to take her pill EVERY DAY-- no making up missed doses or "oh, it was only one . . ." and such things. It is also important to take it around the same time every day. If it's hard for her to keep it in stock and remember to take it, she should switch to another method such as the OrthoEvra patch (apply once a week), the NuvaRing (once a month), or the Depo-Provera shot (every 90 days).

Also, if you have a hole in the condom or something similar again, keep in mind that the morning after pill is now sold over-the-counter. You can take it up to 3 days after having sex, and it's available at your local Planned Parenthood. It costs about $50, but babies cost a lot more.

2weeks to 4months for the body to become adjusted to it. If she was out for only a couple days and her body had been on it for awhile b4 then, ur chances are lowered that she would be pregnant, but it still could be possible.

If I'm not mistaken, it has to build up in your system. You may well be pregnant. Your body is supposed to be regulating your hormones, this is how you were designed. Often the pill is used to force periods to be regular, as well as protect from pregnancy. I
