doesn't always have to be painful. starts off with lower abdominal pressure and increased urination with decreased output. then, the burning starts when it becomes more advanced. you should see a doctor before taking anything over the counter as these medications will make them unable to test for UTI's. go either to your physician tomorrow (if you are not in any pain tonight) or urgent care if they can't see you.

i recently had one, i threw up for 3 weeks straight then decided to go to the er and found out it was that, i was told peeing frequently and pain and other symptoms if u got one make sure to get antibiodics so it doesnt spread to your kydneys
