18... wanting to lose weight.?!


Question: I am an 18 year old girl, weighing 210 at 5'4". I would like to weigh around 135 eventually. I am planning on eating 500 calories less each day to lose 1 lb/week. Would cutting out diet soda, and walking more cause more than 1lb/week weight loss?

Hey! I'm going through the same thing actually... But its different with everygirl, sometimes if you cut out soda, and fastfood, some people can loose up to 10lbs a week. 1lb a week is..barely dieting at all. I would suggest to start off "training" your body to eat less, and more healthy food, and excercise, try and lose about 4lbs a week. Thats healthy. And good luck! =)

My doctor recommended weight watchers for me, and it was the best thing I have ever done to lose weight. Good luck.
