When I was almost 6 months pregnant I was having headaches everyday for like 3 weeks and I was telling my doc but there was nothing he could do or say besides take1 extra strength tylenol every 6-8 hours but after the next day it seemed as if the pill wasn't working any more so I stopped taking it. He did prescribe me a pill that was supposed to be a bit stronger but had no vicodin but it worked just as well as the tylenol... My headaches were getting so much worst.... I couldnt stand any type of loud nose, lights, I couldn't even be in a room with lights or a televison on... MY EYES WERE EVEN CROSSING and I was hearing noises in my ear ... So my doc admitted me to the hospital and ran some test I ended up having Suto (Pronounced Sue-toe) which is actually the shorter version of the real word but what is is that there was an excess of fluid building up in my head and the doctor ended up doing a lumbar puncture to remove the fluid and as the fluid was leaving my body I was feeling sooo much better. My vision was instantly ok and my head ache was gone.....Long story I know... I just said all of that to say get your self checked out!!!

If you are early on in your pregnancy it is normal to have head aches, they are irritating but will wear off once you're further along. I would stay away from anything other than tylenol unless your doctor has advised you otherwise! If you have concerns and want them solved ASAP call your local pharmacist they can help also.

Hope this helps.

are your hands and feet swollen, and even your face? These can be signs of pre-eclampsia.
