Hormone replacement therapy and feeling sick?!
Question: I am 27 and I have premature ovarian failure and started taking hormone replacement (premarin) a couple weeks ago because of low estrogen levels. I was feeling okay on it at first but the last few days I've felt sick to my stomach and dizzy. What do people feel like on this?? Is this normal?? Thanks!!

I have never taken premarin, but you need to see what the side-affects are. It may be that you cannot take it. It does take awhile for your estrogen levels to build back up, and that maybe why you are now just getting sick and stuff. I would talk with your doctor about your concerns. I take Estratest. which comes in full strength (dark green pill) half strength (light green pill) and never had a problem. I have been taking it for 7 yrs now. I had to have a hysterectomy in 99 and the ovaries where removed in 01. I was 29 when I had the hysterectomy
quite normal it will gert better. i wish i could get more hormones iam male and want to take moe hormones my breasts were starting to grow an i loved that
hi there. form what my girlfriened went through its normal.other effects are : crying for no reason,tiredness,aching joints,not cuddly,will prob get to look at your body differently.those are the factors i got from my girlfriend. you are married i dont know if thats going to affect your husband sexually. it did for us.it hurt always. thats all i can say from my relationship. hope it helps.
