My husband is driving me nuts!!!?!

Question: Last night I passed out in the bathroom floor and my husband found me. I have had very heavy bleeding from my periods all of my menstruating years but I am anemic and that caused the passing out. He took me to the doctor this morning and that was when I was diagnosed anemic and prescribed some vitamins. Well, my hubby is driving me bonkers! He won't let me do anything!!! The doctor said to rest b/c of the bleeding to keep it minimal and to just plain take it easy. But my hubby won't let me do a darn thing! He is so afraid he is going to find me passed out again. He said that he thought I was dead when he found me last night so I can understand the scare but I have to make sure he is home before I shower, go outside, and he won't even let me cook or clean! How can I make him feel better?

awww i think thats very sweet! but if it really is making you feel mad and uncomfortable..you can try telling him that you can still do stuff and all and you can even do things slowly b slowly because he really is a good husband and yorue very lucky =] i hope you feel better soon =]

your husband is really caring and protective of you. really sweet. well, since your doctor says to rest, just use some time and rest. after a while, you'll get better and your husband wouldn't worry as much. if you want to make him feel better, just get enough rest, and soon you'll be back on track and he wouldn't have to worry about you.

i wish you the best of luck.

buy some big thick steaks

and cook him one

explain to him meat is full of iron an vitamins and your feeling fine.

then make mad passionate love to him

if that don't help

he's going to need counseling

Make him feel better by showing him that you're better. Get a new hematocrit from your MD that shows the crisis is past.

I do pretty dramatic things to try to protect my wife when I think there's a real risk to her - whether she agrees or not. Seeing her in pain is painful to me. Seeing her at risk scares me. If I found her passed out once, I'd consider that good reason to think I'd find her that way again, or maybe worse.

If your blood isn't carrying enough oxygen to keep you conscious, I'd say that's kind of a big deal.

Well, first off, you should be very happy you have such a caring husband. But you also need to lay down the law and say that you can still do regular things (i.e. cooking and some cleaning). Just do what the doc told ya and take it easy. Nothing too strenuous.

But to make him feel better...well, V-day is tomorrow! You can buy him some chocolate or something. Or you can um...I dunno, just comfort him and tell him it's alright. He's obviously still in a bit of shock, so you'd need to shake him out of it a little. He'll be fine in a few days.

Do exactly as he has asked you and thank him for his love and concern. Rest, read books, and give him that comfort of knowing that the two of you are working this out together and he is an appreciated part of it.

I just read a great book called Body by God...the doctor had some diet suggestions in there that may help you with your problem and offer some natural solutions. It is written by ben lerner.

Don't worry about it. Take advantage of all that TLC. One day you will get your turn to return the favors. Enjoy the hell out of it. He is doing what he wants to do. Show your appreciation.

i went through the same situation but in a different way . he just worries too much because he cares if he didnt worry you should be worried but if his getting on your nerves you should speak to him he might see it from your piont of view so just tell him how you feel what would it hurt

Give yourself some more. By then you would have gained some more strength and he would also be lot more comfortable. You are lucky to have such a caring husband.

your hubby is being so sweet. its like you are celebrating valentine's daily ! lucky you!

But to make him feel better...well, V-day today so treat him and yourself to a nice stek full of iron. and please do as the doc says and rest and i hope you feel better real soon

Awwww bless, him!

I think that's so sweet!

My bf went like that for a while when he saw me nearly passing out. After I while, he realised that I was ok and let me get on with my own thing again.

You just fgotta tell him that he can't be there for you all of the time cos he's gotta work, don't know if you work or not, but if you do, he's not there with you is he?!

Just explain that you've managed up til now and that you will let him know if you feel unwell. Also, explain that you are feeling much better now that you have some iron tablets to stop you from passing out as it was the lack of iron that caused this.

just relax for a couple of weeks do what he says hes trying to keep u safe he loves you just take it easy let hyim tajke care of yopu and he wants to so enjoy ok

be safe

Hi you should be glad you have so caring husband,OK you asked this question, but in side you are happy, that he so nice and so caring. Is it or not?
