How to lose stomach fat?!


Question: Right around and below the bellybutton.
What excersizes (not diets) are good for this?
Just been running. Think I need to do something more to move the process along.

cardio cardio cardio.....its really the only thing that burns fat...you can workout all day, but the only way to get rid of the surface layer is cardio...try changing it up a bit...run, take a class, swim...just as long as you get a minimum of 20 minutes in, you are doing good. everything over 20 minutes is really good because it strictly burns fat... GOOD LUCK!!!

Sad to say there is no way to lose fat from a specific area of your body. The only thing you can do is lose weight generally. Eventually you will lose weight in your desired region.

It sucks, but the body doesn't work the way we want it too all the time.

that fat you're talking about is going nowhere without eating right. Exercise tightens and tones those muscles but the fat needs to melt away.

get an exercise ball and do sit ups every day on it. gradually the stomach fat will burn away

or even you can make a jug of honey and vineger water and sip on it throughout your day. it workss!!!!

As already written, you can't choose where to lose fat. :(

But, you can still tone the area with exercise. A really good thing for your whole trunk is pilates.

Also, some people always have a belly (non-fat-based) no matter how tiny they get as there are organs in there and depending on size, shape, etc, they will always create a bulge in the region.

ive heard that if you put plastic wrap around your belly and just go for walks it will really help. it makes you sweat more where the plastic wrap is. thats how a girl i used to work with lost most of her after baby fat. thats what im gonna try after mine is born.

There is no exercise to target fat in a specific area. You just have to burn calories to lose fat everywhere.. then exercise to tone up weak areas.

Try a "Girdle" this will work!! It can be found at any deparment store in the Underwear section for women. You can wear this under your clothes so no one will ever know you have one on! My aunt used it for 2 months after she had a baby and her stomach is gone now! This is the easiest and fastest way I heard of.

first answer is right there is no way to "spot reduce" you can tighten the muscles just in that area though by doing some toning exercises.........but to lose fat you need to do some form of aerobics....running is good!!
