First thing, call the doctor and ask. I think they'll tell you to stop taking them and wait for your period. Then you'll need to start a new pack on the Sunday after your period starts. You need to take the whole pack, so you'll have to throw this pack out and get a new one.

If your period is very irregular (as in you don't get it for months on end), remind the doctor of that. It's possible he'd want you to start the pill in the middle of your cycle, but I don't think that'd be typical.

unless told differently by a doctor you are supposed to start the Sunday AFTER you are on your period. Just continue this pack..just do not rely on it for birth control until you start the second pack of birth control pills because you could have already ovulated this month.

when you get your period you count this as day 1 on your pill packet and you take the whole course for 21 days then 7 days off then 21 days on. if you think you have made a mistake keep taking the course but go back and see your doctor. a good rule of tumb, use condoms during the 1st month just so you don't get pregnant. Good luck!

what do you mean you think you started it wrong?

as long as you are taking one pill per day at the same time each day you are doing just fine.

if you forget a pill or two, read the PAMPHLET that came with your pill pack or talk to your doctor or pharmacist OR google your pill online in order to find out what to do about missed pills.

If you are saying that because you haven't gotten your period yet then you've got to give your body some time to get used to the hormones from the pills. give it a few pill packs before worrying.
