Ok I'm 15 NOT sexually active and I have a big red spot "down there'!

Question: And i dont know what to do...

Answers: And i dont know what to do...

Have you done anything lately that would cause you to get a red spot? You know, like bump into something or some kind of accident, I guess this is only an idea if it's a red spot like you could get a red spot on your arm or whatever from hitting it..

Honestly, we can't tell you what it is. It could be a lot of things from an ingrown hair (although that would be a small spot), to, well, I don't know.. Going to the doctor will be your best bet if it's really bothering you, especially if it hurts. If you want, wait a couple days and if it's still there, go to the doctor. Would you be able to talk to your doctor before he/she examines you? Then you could tell him/her that you are nervous and not really comfortable with being examined, but it really hurts. If you're worried about the doctor judging you or anything for how you look down there, don't. Doctors have seen probably thousands of ladies down there, to them it's just another body part like an ear, finger, arm, whatever. This is a part of their job.

Or, could you talk to your mom? Ask her, or another female relative (or I guess older friend you feel comfortable with discussing this with) you are close with and can comfortably talk about this with. And then if you have to go to the doctor, see if she can accompany you, to help take your mind off things a little.

Probably a pimple or sebaceous cyst. Leave it alone. If it doesn't get better in a few days, then check with the Dr.

Go to the doctor! Do you really think people on Yahoo! Answers are going to be able to diagnose you?!

Pimple, ingrown hair, sebaceous cyst, or clogged pore most likely. Put some neosporin and a gauze pad on it. If it come to a white head, you can drain it after a shower and keep neosporin on it for a couple of days. We all get these. If it swells up really big--like more than an inch and a half a cross, then you will need to see the doctor about it, but if it is smaller than that then you should be able to self treat it.

I agree with the first person who posted an answer, if its red, and feels like there's a marble or something in one of the female lips, its probably a "down south zit". Give it about 5 days,it should go away, if not, go to the doctor.-I had a similar experience recently..
