Planned Parenthood...?!
Question: When I was in high school, it was a great place to get birth control, pap tests and other women's health procedures along with confidentiality. They support all women's decisions in an un-biased way. I loved it! This was several years ago though. I want to take my younger sister to PP to get her on birth control (she says she's not, but I know she's sexually active). She's not employed, so if the rules haven't changed, I'm sure she'll get them for free. Has anyone been to PP recently? I need to know if it's changed any.

It still the same. Planned Parenthood has help so many girls and boys. Wish there were more of them around.
still the same :)
Shouldn't it be....unplanned parenthood? sorry but idk...
I have been there on a number of occasions, such as to get an HIV test.
They charged me based on a sliding scale based on my income.
I think they vary by where you go in terms of atmosphere.
I went to an urban one in a big city.
you can go to a county clinic and they will see you no matter what. They base it upon your income so since she is unemployed she will not be charged for her doctors visit. I live in cook county so if you live close here are some places you can go. If you live in chicago i know of a couple of places.
As far as the planned parenthood where I live, services are free if you're in high school, and if not the rates are based on a sliding income scale.
