Women's health question.?!

Question: So the past few months I've had really bad stomach pains, often feel tired, look pale, etc. So I went to the doctor, but he's done a lot of blood & urine tests & a check up on me, and can't seem to find anything wrong. I've never had sex, but I did do other "stuff" (for ex., oral) with my ex. Based on my basically non-existent sex life, my doctor said he didn't think I needed to do a pap smear. However, the past few days I've noticed a brown discharge. It's about 3-4 days before I should be getting my period, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Or could it mean that I have an infection down there? I'm not sure whether to go back to my doctor or not. Last week he said just to see how I do over the next couple months, & if I don't feel any better to come back. But now that I'm noticing the discharge, I'm wondering if I should go back, & have a pap smear done. I'm thinking this could all just be from stress, because I've gone through a lot in the last couple months. Help?

Yes you need to go back and see your doctor so he can find the problem and treat it.
