I can't be pregnant, but...?!

Question: I've missed three periods. I've never taken birth control, so that's not the problem. I'm only 16, and am still a virgin. While I may still be young, I got my first period when I was 11 and have always been regular. I told my mother about this and she told me to stop worrying about it, but I can't. I don't exercise very often, and am not very thin either. And I get menstrual-like cramps, but no period. Should I see a doctor?

Yes, post haste, a lack of periods is something that could indicate any number of abnormalities.

are you stressed? go to your doctor.

it could have been from stress
olosing weight
or maybe gaining weight.

Yes, see a Dr. Do you have alot of stress? That can cause missed periods. For your piece of mind please see a Dr. It probably isn't nothing but better safe than sorry. Good luck and God Bless!

this happened to me not too long ago. I missed three periods and on the fourth month I got my period. Now it has been over a month and I havent gotten my period. It is best if you dont stress about it if you dont get it your fourth month you should go see a doctor there is a possibility that something might be blocking your flow. The main thing is dont stress, and drink plenty of water

I've heard that excercise can help regulate periods. Stress and weight gain can be factors....
