Is there a reason I keep feeling light headed and fainty lately?!

Question: I'm being serious don't need rude remarks just a question for someone that might know. Not I'm not pregnant (fixed so to speak after second child). I feel like theres no oxygen going to my head sometimes and kinda dizzy when I raise up or if I get upset. Sometimes first thing in the morning when I get up. I don't mean its constant but enough to make me wonder and I get more headaches than usual......Can stress cause this or could it be something more like circulation problems? My husband and kids are covered (insured) but not me so I feel I have to be seriously ill to go to the doctor or I'll get us in a bind.. If you could help me find somethings out or what I could do to check this out .Then see if its serious enough to get checked out I'd appreciate it very much. (I'm not stressed a whole lot but it does happen as with everyone I'm sure lol) Thanks (to those who answer to be jerks I will ignore u so don't bother) usually when I ask a health question I get alot of rude remarks

How much water do you drink? I get like that when I don't get enough water. When you think you drank enough drink one more glass. My Dr said if you are thirsty you are dehydrated. It could be vertigo. I don't know about your local hospital but ours has a 24 hour nurse call where you can call and ask questions. As for insurence stat care is $40 bucks usually for a visit. I don't know your money situation. If you have any questions I will ask my nursing instructor. I am also a nursing student.

Stress can be a major reason ..

with me, sometimes my sugar goes low or even blood pressure which makes me feel what you've mentioned ..

oh and it might sound funny, but it happened to me also when i had an abdominal illness .. it was a parasite in my stomach , which caused me those kind of feelings..

my sister, she used to take natural herbs made as pills , which fasten or improves your blood circulation and it was really really helpful..

i will check for the name and come back to you ..

i hope i helped ..

well i have no idea but i want to help my best advice is go to webmd.com i'm not sure where it's at on that site but there is a place on the site somewhere that allows you to punch in your symptoms to help you self diagnose and from there you can decide if you think it is serious enough to go to the hospital. and try to get health insurance so next time you can go straight to the hospital it will be so much better for you. hope this helps.

You may have neck problems... could be as simple as getting a new pillow. Sometimes too much tension in the neck causes (dizziness and headaches) . I get them on occassion too ..especially when I work out my shoulders and neck...and sometimes when I'm stressed from work and come home tense, the next morning I feel it..and have a bit of dizziness. My dear its probably stress!
check out this site may have some answeres
www.medhelp.org (then on the top right punch in Vertigo & headaches-search
good luck and hope you feel better.. and if you can afford it go see a massage therapist ...they help a great deal usually after first treatment!

Before you get mad at me let me tell you a little known fact. The failure rate for getting fixed in women is about 1 in every 250. I know that doesn't sound like much but there is still a chance that you may be pregnant. So before you do anything I recommend that you purchase a good brand of home test toe pregnancy and perform it. If the test comes back positive end of story, if it is negative the we can start to look fo other causes. Yes, everyday stress and worry can cause dizziness but it is highly unlikely. I am truly concerned that your husband and children are covered by insurance but you are not. What kind of husband lets his wife go uninsured and exposed to that kind of danger. While I am sure that there are mitigating circurmstances in my world it is just not done.
However, I digress. I do think that you should check into seeing a doctor that will see you based on your ability to pay and knows that you have no insurance. Purhaps they have a social worker on staff that can help you to obtain GAMP or another program if your finances qualify you for it. I reason I state this is because you symptoms may have a cardiac base and if they are indeed cardiac will need extensive work up, which as you've already guessed will cost quite a bit of money. Many hospitals and clinics have social workers on staff to help patients in the application process so that they can get the quality of health care that they need and in a timely manner. I do hope that you seek medical attention. Best of luck to you.
