Lot of discharge?!
Question: i haven't started my period and every day i get an explosion of discharge marbled with whitish and clear colors. it doesn't stink until it is dry and the it smells like dirty vagina. and even if i change my underware, it makes it wet again. please help me.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. Alll girls have their own 'scent' - it will smell stronger to you than to others.
Different Types of Discharge:
White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.
Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.
Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.
Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.
Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

The couple months before i got my period was like DISCHARGE MANIA!!
it was crayness.
i thought something may be wrong with me.
Until my besfriends mom who is a doctor told her it was normal, so she told me.
once u get ur period ur still going to have discharge, just not as bad.
Yes, this is normal. Your body is changing. I got a discharge like you described a couple months before my first period. I was freaking out at first, and thought I was abnormal or something, but I talked to my friend about it! You can try putting a pad on your underwear any way to keep it from getting wet...it will end eventually okay!!!(btw make sure to always keep a pad handy just in case u start). If this persists for a long time, or it is a concern, try talking to your doctor of close female friend/family member. Good luck!

Excessive discharge can be a sign of infection which is common. It also maybe that you will very soon begin your cycles. You can let a parent know and maybe consider seeing your doctor. Your mom may have experienced the same thing at your age - discuss it with her.
If discharge has a foul odor, then you should definitely see your gynecologist. You could have an STD or other infection. Odors are your body's way of alerting you to something gone awry and should always be heeded.
