This is really irritating me?!

Question: Okay, i keep having to clear my throat every 2 seconds because if i don't, i start to have breathing difficulties. But now my dad gets really annoyed about me doing it every single day and night. When i wake up, my throat is fine, but afterwards, it happens again. My family has history of ashtma if that's the cause? Any medicines or lockets or don't help.

I am an astmatic and have the same symptoms as you for many years. Your doctor will be able to check whether you have asthma by your symptoms and asking you to 'blow' into a peak flow meter which measures your expiritory flow rate. Preventative and reliever inhalers are normally prescribed for asthma.

dont drink milk or use milk products for 3 days and see if it clears up

If your dad is so annoyed ask him to take you to the doctor.

You should go and see your Doctor and have them check it out.

Here are the choices i can think of:

your allergic to ___, You can check with your doctor to see what.

you have ashtma. You can check with you doctor.

You have some sort of throat issue. You can check with your doctor to see what.

The ONLY help we can give you is advice -- we can't give you medicines.

A "locket" will not help you. It does sound like asthma (my husband has this exact problem if he doesn't use his inhaler.)

Go to the doctor. That's your help.

it may be asthma related, sinusitis related if it draining into your throat or you can be having trouble in your throat where your epiglottis isn't functioning properly, I recommend you get it checked out.

Many deodorants and room fresheners have the same effect on me. Try avoiding both for a couple of days to see if there is any improvement.

You have asthma..Go to the doctor now. ASAP.
