Am i low in iron?!


Question: ive been put on a contraceptive that has made me be on a constant period for a little over 2months now. its an implant so i cant take it out and the next doctors appt isnt till next fri! anyway could i cure some of my sideaffects with iron supplments? my hair is falling out, my wieght has shot up 15pounds in 2months im tired all the time i dont want to get out of bed or do anything i feel so weak. could i be low on iron since ive had a period for 2months now. plus could you list anything else i could take to boost my system till next week as i have uni and just cant face going right now. please help thank you

it is a high possibility that u could be low on iron. you could call the doctors and try get an earlier appointment. foods that are high in iron include red meat and green veg, as well as that its important to take vitamin c as it helps absorption of the iron. u can get galfer iron tablets in the chemist and they will turn ur poo black so dont be alarmed!
drink plenty water and dont over exercise. early nights and try get up early enough too. hope i helped
i take iron tablets-galfer- and they REALLY help me! i used to be dizzy all the time wasnt even able to read an weak and i felt the difference with the iron tablets within 3 hours of taking them.
