Question: Im in the UK.
Im currently on Microgynon 30, but its not working for me, horrible mood swings. So Im going to the doctor to switch, what do you think he'll try me on?
I'd just like a vague idea of what pill he might put me on now.

I'm on Mercilon, it's alot better, keeps you happy, it works very well.
I used to be on the same one as you, but I'm on this now.
It's also very good for acne, keeping your hair grease free, and keeping you thin.
There are about 40 different birth control pills, this is an impossible question to answer for anyone but your doctor.
Your mood swings are because of the hormonal imbalance the pills are creating.
Why not have an IUD The procedure is simple, safer than the pill, no side effects. Just have an annual pep smear done.
