HELP. Extreme Cramps?!

I'm 24 and I've never had cramps this bad before from my period. I'm crying from the pain. They just won't go away.

Oh I'm so sorry.. I definitely feel for you, cramps suck :P What I do is take 1 naproxen and 2 ibuprofen. But once the pain is that bad, it takes awhile for the meds to kick in. Usually right when I feel a twinge of menstrual cramps I take that little "cocktail" and continue taking 2 ibuprofen every 4 hours or so. But since you are already hurting really bad, I'd take the cocktail still, put a heating pad on your abdomen and try to get some sleep. When you wake up, hopefully you'll feel better. Or maybe try a hot bath.. My other concern is maybe it isn't menstrual cramps? If you've never gotten them this bad at 24 yrs.. are you sexually active? It could be an ectopic pregnancy.. if you can't get the pain relieved within a few hours, I'd go to your Dr. or the ER. Good luck!
