Going to the doctor about a lump?!
Question: i have a small lump on my armpit for 7 months and everyones tellin me cause it didnt grow its probably nothing and just a blocked sweat gland or somethin. so i said ok i wont go to the doc, but now i wanna go just to confirm its ok but i hate going to the doctors. what are the steps the doc is going to take when i go see them about this problem?

it is probably just a lymph node. If you are in your 20's-35 get a mammogram or ultrasound if you have a close relative who got breast cancer at an early age. If you are over 35 get a mammogram and an ultrasound exam
first the doctor will feel the lump and depending on if its just a lymph node he may or may not run tests such as blood work to doing a biopsy to find out what it is. It could be a lymph node of regular size to an inflamed lymph node, a cyst, to something very dangerous like cancer so it is a very good idea that you get it looked at. Good Luck!
