Can getting rid of endo really improve your chances of pregnancy?!

Question: Even if husbands sperm is not real fast or high in count? We are going for a sperm test but this is just a question incase it comes back like this? I am off my lupron treatments and should be ready to TTC in about fourweeks after my ob/gyn visit,

Yes it can.My sister found out she had it in the beginning of last year and the doctor removed most of it but there was too much to remove all of it and he told her that the only way to get rid of it all was by having a hysterectomy and she told the doctor that before she gets that done that she want to have one more baby and he told her that it might be impossible cause having endo can make you infertile plus it might cause her more pain when her belly grows so she decide to go through with the hysterectomy while waiting for them to make the appt which was taking months she got sick and needed to be on antibiotics so she stop taking her birth control pills cause the antibiotic decrease the effect of them anyways and a month later she found out she was pregnant. She got pregnant like 3 months after they removed some of it.She is now 8months pregnant and she is doing good and she hasn't had much pain like the doctor said 6months after the baby is born she is going to have that hysterectomy done.My advice to you is just have faith, if other women who have endo can get pregnant then there can be hope for you as well, just keep praying and god will bless you with your little one soon.Good luck and tons of baby dust headed your way!

Yes, removing as much endo as possible via laparoscopy will improve the chances of trying to get pregnant. This happened to a neighbor of mine. She went in for a laparoscopy to check on a cyst she had which they removed but also found that she had some endo sitting in there. They removed what they could and within 3 months or so after that she got pregnant with her second daughter. The little girl is now about 5 years old.
