Strongly suggest you see your doctor. I have a 9 yo GIRL student that has this affliction. I researched it on the Internet to learn more about it as her teacher I saw nothing about menstrual cycles. The articles that I read did say that it is predominately a MALE affliction, but females do get it. Good Luck
