10 definitely, but worth every point...classes DO help though,, I know I did it both ways...
it covers the entire scale of 1-10 but you forget it and you bounce back quickly. well worth it.
the severest pain a human had is due to renal stone moving down ,
next is delivering a baby , but now days anesthesia takes place.
however , the pain varies among indivesuals , I've seen a women ( lot ) who deliverd with grade 1 according to your scale, without using any type of pain relife .
any way , primegravid women are more aware of pain then multigravids .

It is different for everyone. For me, it was the contractions that were the worst. Most people think that the baby coming out is the worst part, but I didn't think so. I would say that contractions were a 8, and the actual childbirth was a 4.
its so 10 its the hardest thing the women does in life.but you feel very alive..if that makes sense

You really cannot pinpoint "how painful" birth is: the level of pain is different for each woman. Some are overwhelmed by the pain and others have very little pain at all.
It is relative to each person!
