One can never really be a 100% certain that bad things won't happen .. but worrying about it will not make you safer and it can lead to a lot of stressful nights ..

It might help that before you board your plane you will go through security checks.. It may make you feel safer that a lot of people are working to protect you ..

For nausea ..anti-motion sickness pills work for me.. drink it an hour before you board the plane.. follow directions on the label and ask your parents if you're a minor.

PS...what we see on TV is make-believe.. if they show what actually happens when everyday people fly .. it will be pretty pretty boring.. =)

enjoy NY .. I love that place! =)

use drugs

or drink heavily

no I can not ask the airport security to check for bombs and take some travel pills to the barfing .

well i dont really know how to help u
just try not to worry about it too much
busy urself so u wont think about it as much

there wont be a bomb on the plane. I hate flying too but if your smart then you dont need to worry =p

(just wear a good luck charm anyway) xD

as for nausea, try asking a doctor for pills or you could refrain from eating on the plane. Keep a paper bag handy too.

hope this helps,

You have anxiety about flying and my husband is the same. I dont know what to suggest. My hubby feels a little better if he has a couple of drinks before he gets on board but if there is turbulence then it doesnt make any difference.

you can buy medication to deal with your air sickness and you are going to have to realize that plane attacks are a rarity there are more people then you can imagine trying to make sure that nothing happens to you on your flight and you have to believe that you are safe don't' allow the idiots that want to bomb you frighten you the risk is low so don't be afraid

wel i thinkl you should try to remember that it has been statistically proven the flying is the safest form of travel, and what always seems to help me is to take off ur shoes and socks on the airplane, because it psychologically gives u the idea that you should be comfortable

stay confident

Well, on the plane there are little booklets that show how to relax on the plane. No one will bomb your plane, since bombs are waaay to much trouble. If anything happens, most likely you'll be put on the ground somewhere safe by means of a slide, get 2 free trips to anywhere in the world, and a few nights in a super nice hotel.

first of all flying 2 new york from the us is much much shorter then flying 2 korea from the usa! dont worry. that was only the 9/11 bombing form saddam houssen. that was like 7 or 8 years ago. do me a favor and DON'T WORRY!!!!!!!!

I fly a lot. Flying is much safer than other kinds of travel really. Remember they like to show things on TV that are scary, not every day ordinary things. Thousands and thousands of planes fly safely every day and they don't show that because it's boring. You are more likely to be killed in an auto accident than flying on a plane. So don't worry about a bomb. A bad thing can happen any day for any reason and you can't spend your life afraid of everything.

Also, I get seasick and carsick but have never been sick while flying. It can happen but its very rare.

Look forward to your trip and enjoy it and don't worry about the plane.

don't worry about the bomb, your chances of winning the lottery is better. but the barfing thing i would worry about. you can get air-sickness pills at any drug store. they will calm down your tummy. the flight will be also shorter to NY, than to Korea. you might even try going tired, that way you can sleep on the plane.

i hate airplanes too and in march im going to florida (ilive in ny) and im soooo scared i might just run away

Me too, I'm scared to take the airplane because of what is happening. before talking an airplane just think of that, they are less changes that something bad happens, try to distract yourself or something like that. I don;t really have a better idea, but don't take drugs because it won't help, well it's really you that can really help yourself. I hope that i help you enough. Much love.

hmm..well i was nervous the first time i went on a plane but i love it now! since you've been on one before i have a simple but affective solution to the bomb thing. Just change your set of mind. realise that the reason you see it on TV all the time is because it hardly ever happens so its shocking news. they aren't going to report that a plane successfully landed without a bomb scare because it happens a billion times a day. realise that the things on the news are there because they are rare. as for the nauseating thing:try the pressure bracelets. wal mart carries them

just relax!..nothings gonna happen.if you get sick theres a bathroom to go to.yes theres a risk when you fly but after 9/11 there is way more security on airports than ever before.why do you think it takes foever to get through airport security and to get the plane to even take off??

Seems like you are getting yourself worked up way ahead of time.

Worrying about things that are not under your control don't do you any good. Change your mind set. You can do it. Maybe you should stop watching TV. Since when do you look to movies and TV shows for real life accuracy? They're just trying to get good ratings and money.

You could take a train, a bus or a car or walk. Wait - TV has shown what can happen . . .
You could stay at home. No, in movies . . .

I'm not saying you should never be concerned, but try to be realistic and don't let fears rule your life. A counselor might help. Life happens. Try not to be afraid of it.

Now, about your nausea - talk to a doctor. I know there are OTC medications for motion sickness. Have you tried any?
