Question: Has anyone had success with OTC remedies, or home remedies?
My face is a total zit ranch, and I am sooo tired of it!
I'm 46, and the usual TEEN products don't work.

unfortunately the hormone surges get us that way, and I also had an irregular mammogram, which turned out to be fine once everything calmed down (just a heads up). My dermatologist said that I should use cetaphyl to wash with, and twice a week to mix it with a bit of baking soda for an exfoliating scrub. I changed moisturizers, and still stopped using them on my Tzone- just on my crows feet and neck...and I did use a salic acid moisturizer at night...I went to Paula Bergoins web site- cosmetic cop...she wrote that book, "don't go to the cosmetics counter without me." and I did purchase a couple of things from there. anyway, now it is all done (menopause) and I friggin love it!!! good luck
My mams going through the same thing. The doctors can give you some amazing tablets for all types of acne although they will probably try to give you the cheaper alternative first which can make you really sick. Sugar Coated Erythromicin is the best thing avaliable - it works wonders.
Another option is Nivea Young products. The facial scrubs and things take away the worst of the redness and shininess that comes with acne.
