Question: i just started useing the nuva ring. Me and my boyfriend had sex last night and i was really dry (down there). could this be a side effect? Have you experienced this while on the ring?

My ex looked into it when it was new. One of the side effects is possible vaginal dryness. After reading your question, I Googled it and quite a few people are experiencing that side effect. You may want to talk to your doctor and try a water based lube. An oil based lube may conflict with the nuva ring.

you should have a pamplet for it when you get this just read the side affects...i was talking to my doc and he said you could remove the ring when you and your parnter have sex if it makes you uncomfortable but you got to make sure to put it back in soon after..im not sure if that is the side affect i choose a different method of bc because i didmt feel like sticking a ring up there
