"Period" during pregnancy?!

Question: I know that some women still have what seems to be their "period" during pregnancy. For those who have, how was it different from your regular period and how long did it last?

My mom had a regular period for the first 6 months of all pregnancy's she had.

Normally its just spotting or very light...anything heavier you should go to your doctor

Some women claim that they menstruate during pregnancy, and in SOME (VERY VERY FEW) high-risk pregnancies, maybe in the first tri-mester a woman will experience a period while she is pregnant. Some women confuse implantation bleeding, which occurs in the first two weeks of conception, as their period and believe that they've menstruated and are not pregnant.

Except for the VERY rare cases in which that happens, you just don't menstruate during pregnancy. Any bleeding that seems like a period is just bleeding and is not the same thing as you shedding your actual uterine lining, as that would be called a miscarriage and you would no longer be pregnant. I know I'm going to get a lot of thumbs down for this answer, but I am positive that this answer is correct. If you don't believe me, ask your doctor.

GO to your doctor he/she may now whats going on with your body xx

My mom says that its just like 1-3 drops, and it dosen't hurt that much!
