This question is for females.....males may answer though.....?!

Question: Does anyone else experience extreme fatigue the week BEFORE your period? I always do the week before I start, the first day of, I get really bad cramps, but after taking pain reliever and cramps stop, I feel great again. Just wondering if anyone else experiences this and what you do for your fatigue, besides napping.

Yeah I usually get really fatigued as well before my period, I also start eating alot more, and get gassy lol.

Usually I try to drink lots of warm water, avoid as much sugary foods as possible and just generally watch my diet and make sure to take my iron tablets. It really boosts my energy and usually prevents the cramps.

no i dont but i always have cramps

Yep. Most people do. It's part of PMS. I don't really do anything for fatigue besides deal with it :)

i do but i dont do anything about it...usually i just strain myself to stay awake or i will have a drink with a little bit of caffeen in it...

I never knew ppl had it after...i always get tierd b4...

nearly everyone gets this and anyone that dosent is very lucky. What you are doing at the moment sounds good but if you are wanting some other ways to ease the pain i suggest doing this :

Buy a microwavable lavender bear thing what you do is you put it in the microwave for about 2:30 mins and then place it on your stomach it will be nice and warm and i tend to find this relieves the pain...

Another thing you can do is have a nice bath with salts and bath bombs and lots of bubbles - treat yourself and pamper yourslef it will relax you and in result will relax your muscles and your muscles cause the cramp

There are some sugestions and just remember dont let pms get you down because its a great way of getting your mum to buy you treats

i hope i helped :)

I do nothing but eat chocolate and sleep before my period :)
