Women, sleeping with no underwear?!

Question: 2 make the long story short, I've been batteling bv for 3 months and it's finally gone, only the gel gave me a yeast infection, so now I'm on dufilcan for that. last time i had the pill it allowed the bacteria overgrow giving me another case of bv. anyway, I've been changing my diet, staying away from a lot candy, sticking to my fruits and cranberry juice, and now thinking about getting off this yasmin. I dry down there with a hair dryer, and as of now I'm using scentless soap. I've already got the answer that it's a good idea not to have panties on while sleeping, but now I have 2 questions. 1: is it possible that I can use this scentless soap only for that area and use my regular soap for the rest of my body? 2: if I decide to go to bed without underwear, which is very weird because discharge happens at night sometimes, is it possible that I can wear my pajama pants still, just without the panties? boxers maybe? It gets cold in my dorm and I like something on my legs. Thanks ladies!

1. Yes you can use scentless soap there and normal soap everywhere else. Alternatively you could stop using any soap down there at all.

2. Yes just wear no underwear but still wear boxers or your pyjama pants, it's a lot looser than underwear so the skin can still breathe etc. but you are covered.

This site has some good info on hygiene etc that you might like: http://www.the-clitoris.com (it's an anatomy site, not porn, and discusses both the soap issue and underwear at night issue)

well i dunno about the medical stuff but i sometimes sleep in just pajama bottoms and no underwear and i've had no problems yet, lol i think it would be fine.

Yes, you can use scentless soap down there. I recommend looking at hypo-allergenic, fragrance free "feminine" wash. I know that Summer's Eve has a wash that fits the bill. Also, check if a generic option exists. I know that Target has a generic brand that is much less expensive, but still does the job. Just make sure that it's fragrance free (they all come hypo-allergenic).

Re: the underwear. Yes, Go Commando Girl!!! It's completely fine and will not affect your body negatively. When you do wear underwear, make sure that the crotch is 100% cotton. It will allow better airflow to that area!

Good luck!!!

In answer to your question, yes scentless soap down there and then regular soap everywhere else. As for pajama pants, sure, just make sure they are loose fitting, you need to have that area breath. Boxers are an excellent way of achieving this as well. Take care
