it's normal to be sore the first time... if the skin is very thin it's probably your hymen, which is perfectly normal to break when you lose your virginity. if you're still worried you should make an appointment with an OBGYN- that's a good thing to do when you lose your virginity regardless, as you should get tested for STDs regularly when you start having sex.
