1. Cut down on ALL SUGAR (candy etc). If you can't cut your sugar, just have one thing with sugar each day. Once you get in that routine, go to every other day, and so on. Or if that's too hard and you're like me and you love sugar too much, still limit yourself to at MOST every other day. That's what I do.
2. Keep doing what you're doing. It may seem slow, but the results WILL come, I swear.
3. Always eat breakfast. Not eating breakfast makes you gain weight because your metabolism never starts. Eating breakfast gets your metabolism going so you can burn fat easier and faster.
4. Eat three meals a day. Make sure you have some healty low-fat meat every day and fruits and vegetables.

Losing weight can be frustrating and difficult, but if you are patient and give it all you've got, you WILL accomplish your goal and it will so be worth it! Also, if you get in these good habits that I have given you, and keep them through life, you will NEVER be unhealty and overweight. Also, you will be happier! Good luck sweety!!

my question is do u eat the right things you do all the right excersies and stuff sweetie dont trip your only 15 your a lil over weight but not alot just watch what you eat.. and dont eat tooo eat

Try to sign up for a sport or get a membership to the YMCA gym.I'm 14 and a lot of guys my age do this. Keep up the running and sittups too. Tell your parents to stop buying the extra sweets and snacks around the house. Try to replace these with healthy, colorful food. Have a goal on how many calories you want to consume each day and write them down. Try to do as much exercising as possible. It may seem like your diet and exerise may take forever to lose weight, but you will overtime.

u need a DOCTOR hun!....get an exam for wat type of diet pills u should get..sit ups wont just work..u need to go other things...lift weights...run on treadmill..exercise/workout everyday for 30 minutes...dance lessons...plenty of things that will help u lose weight!

Well you haven't given nearly enough information. Can you see a doctor and get screened for diabetes? Just to rule it out. Also, I broke down my meals to 6 each day, about 220 calories each. I felt better, I was never hungry, always eating, and I lost 15 lbs in six weeks without exercising. If you're starving yourself, eating less than 1200 calories per day, you will not lose any weight. Your body thinks you're starving and it conserves fat and calories. Finally, remember you didn't gain the weight fast, and you won't lose it fast either. So, take in about 1300 calories a day, divided in 5 to 6 meals, and keep doing what you're doing. Good luck!

I dont know really what to say. Who you are is who you are. I am sorry I wasn't much help.

Don't drink anything with "high fructose corn syup" or high sugars in it. So don't drink any sodas!
Water is your best bet, and if your excersizing then it will definately affect you, it just takes time. Which you have because your 15.
Obviously you know not to skip meals, but you should eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones. And don't just rely on situps, you'll need some sort of kardio like running or dancing.

Water, Running for 30 minutes every day, and good eating.

One thing that people usually do when they are trying to lose weight is not eat or not eat enough, this makes your metabolism slow down. Go to one of those sites that you put in all your statistics and it tells you how many calories you should eat to lose weight.

Also you are young enough that you could still be growing and maybe your body is storing up so that it has the nutrition it needs to grow. Just make sure youre eating the right foods, and you will be fine.

well if ur dieting and running it takes about a month to see a difference...just make sure ur not eating a lot of fat calories and dont eat more than 2,000 calories a day.

not all people get fat because of the same food, each body is different, i say you can visit a doctor, he might recommend a test or something, then you'll know what not to eat. ask about it. but keep on drinking and exercising!
(personally, i eat all the sugars and chocolates and won't gain a pound , but once i eat bread, pizzas and stuff, my jeans won't fit!! )

Please relax. You are not that over weight....please do not get this stressed out about it. It is good that you are exercising and drinking water. It is important to have portion control. Since you can't buy expensive diet foods try using a salad plate when you eat your meals. You can eat the same foods as before just less of them. You will feel hungry at first but after time your body and mind will get used to it.
If you still don't see improvement I would also suggest seeing a doctor just to check that you don't have any hormonal issues keeping you from losing weight.
Please don't worry so much about it. Don't let the number on the scale hold you back from being happy!!

With your choices being limited, now might be a good time to talk to your mom and ask for her help in making sure there are healthy choices available. You also might benefit from seeing a nutritionist, who can help educate you and your family about what foods are healthy and right for your family, about portion sizes (most people have no idea what one portion is) as well as help you come up with a plan for reaching your goal weight.
As far as exercise, it sounds like you are trying. The best exercise routine is one that you enjoy and that fits into your life. If you hate doing it or it's hard to get the time to do it, then you won't be able to stick with it. If joining a gym or the Y is an option, they might offer a fun class you can add to your routine.
The last issue here is self-image and psychological reasons for your weight. Do you feel like you might be depressed or that you might be overeating for some reason? It's important to consider talking to a counselor who can help you stay motivated and take a good look at some of the mental road blocks you may have that are causing you difficulty.
