Nuvaring causing irritation?!

Question: I have been on the nuvaring for about three months and I have been having discharge and irritation down there. I used a monistat testing kit and my ph levels are normal. Could this be from the nuvaring? The discharge is like white and thick, not normal, and i'm sure it's not bacterial vaginosis or any other infection.

that sounds like thrush ( yeast infection) if its thick and white like cottage cheese..and can cause itching soreness and irritation...
