What qualifies as irregular periods?!

Question: Is a truly healthy woman literally supposed to get her period at the same amount of days every month? Or do they mean in or around the same amount of days... like between 28-32 days? Or is this consdered irregular then?

Mine are always different, and this month its extra light and short for no reason at all.

ok seeing as im a guy i feel a bit odd answering this but since i kinda know the answer i figure why not?...

There are alot of things that can throw it off.. usually it should be relatively the same.. Change can be a bad thing.. But not always. If your stressed, upset, depressed or generally angry, your period can be a little off.. Additionally if your sexually active and you havent been b4 or havent been in a long time it can also affect it. If your spotting and have been active, you should at the very least get a home pregnancy test, its better to know for sure.

Good Luck.

im not sure thats the only thing that makes u healthy. i get my period every other month and i consider myself healthy

I've never gotten a period on a certain day but I get one every month.Everyone's differant.

dont worry about it , that is normal! and if you realy dont feel that it is i suggest that you go see a doctor to really find out whats going on wit ur body. and to make sure its nothing serious!
good luck!!!!

It's not about being healthy or unhealthy.

To have regular periods is to be able to predict when your next period will be. Some people have super regular ones, i.e every 29 days on the dot. Some people might know when they are due but it might come a day or two early or late. This is still regular.

If i were to ask you "when's your next period due" and you couldnt give an estimate based on previous periods- that's irregular.

Periods vary much more in younger aged women, just after a new contraceptive is started or after pregnancy. It usually settles after 6 months.

People often say that a regular period occurs every 28 days, but actually, every woman
