Slight pains? going on 5 weeks of pregnancy?!

Question: Hi again!
First time mom here, so everything is strange to me.
I have little pains that come if I lay flat and stretch or just randomly. They don't hurt but feel more like little threads of pain in my lower abdomen. I've read it's kinda normal and then I've read it's not. I always had bad menstrual cramps so this is cake compared to them, but they keep surprising me w/ random late night appearances. =)

Thank God I really have no major symptoms ...tired, little pains in the lower abdomen, some headaches and feel bloated.

Setting up an appt. w/ a doc tomorrow.

Any info is appreciated!

First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy. Those pains are totally normal. You uterus and the organs around it are stretching out a little, and your little bean is snuggling in nicely, which can cause some pains similar to period cramps. Also, I always had those shooting pains that came and went, which I know are very common, and just the ligaments starting to loosen and stretch. Getting an appointment with your doc is a good idea,,just to get things checked out.

Good luck, and I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months.
