As long as you are using shaving cream/gel and you use lotion or baby oil afterwards, shaving shouldn't be a problem. You may experience some sensitivity when you start shaving, but that should subside. You can opt for waxing (ouch and $$$) or try a depilatory cream, but you cannot use that internally so you will still have to use a razor to clean up.

try waxing......

Get some wax. Or nair. You can find it at any store.

Depending on how old you are but I would get it waxed at a salon if you feel comfortable. Thats what I do and I LOVE it! Plus it stays gone for a long time ( a few weeks). When it grows back its not itchy like shaving and it grows in thinner. And its up to you how much you take off. You can just do your bikini line, or you can leave a little strip down the middle, or take it all off which is what I do. I feel a lot cleaner down there in the summer and when its that "time of the month". I would definately go with waxing!

I would shave and use a lot of foamy cream!

I'm a guy and I say leave it! :) Just trim it if you want but don't shave it!!

Don't use shaving cream use hair conditioner

If you really want to remove all of it, I would recommend waxing - professionally that is. Personally, I have been getting waxed for two years now and it is great. Usually any day salon and spa will offer this service. It can be a bit pricey depending on what you want. You can start out slow with just a bikini wax to remove the hair along you panty line. Then gradually continue getting more off. The prices range usually from $30 - $60 or even higher depending where you go. Many women say it hurts, and I'm not going to lie, it is uncomfortable, but it is not as painful as you would think. It gets easier as time goes on.

i always use hair removal cream careful not to get it inside the vagina of course.
