But i feel so depressed and insecure now. Please can someone tell me when the bleeding will stop. It's not heavy, but i can still see bloody. Is there a doctor or someone who can advise me, of any injection or pills to stop the bleeding completely? I need help! Before i do something to hurt myself! Please i need the bleeding to stop. The doctors said they cant say when it will stop, but i need it to stop. It's making me weak!!!!!

A couple of things... Don't hurt yourself - that will only make matters worse. Take it easy... try laying down with your feet up for a while. Make sure your iron level is ok. A low iron ***** can affect blood cloting as well as blood loss decreases your iron level. Your body is flushing itself out... so some bleeding is actually helping the healing process. Some of the medical tools that were used to terminate your pregnancy may have also slightly injured the uterine walls. Take some extra vitamin C and try not to stress. If you want... fill the bathtub with lukewarm water and relax a little. You'll be okay. Write me back so that I know you are doing Ok with this. Just remember: you were pregnant so it's going to take time for your hormones to shift back to their pre-pregnancy level. Take care! Dr Steve

omgsh!!! that is serious (not just the bleeding part, but the part where you may hurt yourself). i suggest you see a psyciatrist....
hope i helped

GeT TO YOUR DOCTOR OR A GYNECOLOGIST. This is very serious.

Hi,

I'd see a doctor AGAIN despite what they may say. If this is making you physically weak- you need iron, potassium, and calcium. This is found in peanut butter and orange juice. If it's making you mentally weak, do something to take your mind off of it. For example, dance, listen to music, read, go out to dinner with your boyfriend, go to a party. Stuff like that.

I googled abortion and bleeding and several sites said if you are still bleeding after three to four weeks, they may not have gotten everything out and you could have an infection, which is one possible explanation for your fatigue. I would go back to the clinic and explain the fatigue, have another exam and ask them to make sure everything was cleaned out properly and you don't have an infection.

Have them see if you are anemic. That is another possible reason you're feeling weak. It should help for you to take a vitamin with iron every day.

If after another exam at the clinic, you are not feeling any better and they keep telling you everything's okay, can you go to a different doctor or clinic? It doesn't sound like your care was of the best quality. I would want a second opinion. You don't want to mess around with your health or your ability to have children in the future.

If they gave you substandard care, I would contact them about paying for your aftercare. If they don't want to, I would very nicely tell them that you thought they would prefer that to being sued. If they still don't want to pay for your aftercare, I would take them to small claims court.
