If you use a condom you will probably be safe. And yes that is a quite safe time of the month. Although unfortunately a woman's body isn't always regular about ovulation etc. which is how people can get pregnant at odd times of the month. But use the condom right and it should be fine.
It is NEVER impossible to get pregnant. Get that fact straight. You can always get pregnant, no matter what the circumstances. Even when on the pill, with a condom, and a week after your period.

You can have sex on your period, but there is still a chance of pregnancy since sperm can live within the body up to 7 days. Use a condom and/or birth control to prevent pregnancy.
