Urine has a slightly pink tinge to it?!

Question: Ok im spotting (but so slight that i dont think it would make the urine pinkish) because i can only see it if i wipe with the tissue inot the opening.

or is it just because im spotting? i dont normally look or notice the colour, but i have had a UTI recently

It is probably because of the spotting--it doesn't take much to turn the urine pink. Try to notice if it is as pink at the end of the stream as at the beginning. If you are having no urinary tract symptoms otherwise wait and see if the urine clears as your spotting abates. If in doubt get a urinalysis at that time.

Could be sumthing ya ate recently bud, don't worry about it....wait another 2-3 days n' see what it's like, take care!.....

Have you eaten beetroot or tandoori this is the commonest cause?

It sounds like your experiencing light spotting
even with a urinary track infection your urine would not turn pink.

I hope this helped :)

yes it could be due to the spotting. When you finish spotting if you still see blood then it may be related to a UTI infection and you should have a doctor check it out.

It could be the UTI coming out of your system. If it persists then I would consult a dr. for a urine analysis. Sometimes antibiotics can cause the urine to change colors or even smell different. I'm guessing the dr. put you on some kind of antibiotic for your UTI. Give it a couple of days and see if it goes away. If not, see a dr.

The list of causes of blood in urine is ginormous (many diagnoses rare)

It would be irresponsibly for one of us to look into our magic ball and guess why you have pink urine

You really won't know until you obtain a urinalysis, ideally from a *catheterized specimen.*

I am guessing a urinary track infection? I could be wrong, make sure you have this looked at by you doctor. a urine test can determine u.t.i infections

hunny get back to the Dr. i dont believe the medicine they gave u is working or had worked

go to doc and get to test for kidney infection thats usually why u would have blood in urine....it takes seconds they can check for the protein in it once u bring a sample or they can get u to give sample in their bathrooms at clinic
