Which type of pad is better?!
Question: which do u prefer, the maxi or the thin kind, and why? i have been using the thin, but my friend says she likes the maxi and she doesn't have to change them as much with the maxi. is this true? that u don't have to change them as much? r they uncomfortable being so big?also, what is a good brand for both? which is better?

Personally i hate the maxi, there very bulky and it feels like everyone can tell you have it on ( even though they cant tell )
I use the thin, even though you might have to change it more often, id hate to have the same pad on for more then 3 hourse. Thats kindda grose to me.
The only time i use the maxi is when im going to sleep. Since i dont want to bother myself with getting up in the middle of the night, i just put one of them on and im good until morning.
For the maxi, i usally get either the store brand or Always ( depends wich is cheaper ) but for the thins i use kotex because there pretty cheap, have wings, are very sticky so they saty in place, and they work great. Plus you get 2 more for the same price as the always.
Although it depends on your flow, if you have a avarage flow then just keep using what you using. Or if it tends to be heavier, get the maxi just in case. You dont want to bleed through!
Why choose, you can get thin maxis now.
They're not uncomfortable unless you put them in upside down :p
I personally think the thin long pads with the wings are the best from always. The maxi pads for me make me feel like I'm wearing a diaper and they actually seem to leak more. I would still change a thin pad as often as a maxi. I think it's gross to keep a pad on for a really long time until it is completely full. ew.
i use maxi. sometimes it makes me feel like im in a diaper, but at least i know im pretected. i dont like wings, cause i can never seem to get them on right, and they always come undone. at a firends house i used a thin, and when it dried, it sunk to the bottom, and was gross to change... eww. so i choose maxi. and i liek stayfree, but kotex is good too
It depends on you and your flow. I like the thin maxi's with wings when I do wear a pad tampons are better for me
its really the amount of blood you get if you get a large amount get the maxi if you get a light amount buy the thin

i cant feel it and for some reason it never leaks with me.
I actually prefer tampons, but I do use maxi pads sometimes. Always makes a thin overnight pad that works like a regular maxi. Because it's an over night pad, it has better absorption, but it is thin enough to not feel like you are wearing dipers. I use them in the daytime and night. Sometimes I use them like pantyliners as backup for when I am having a very heavy period. They make them with and without wings. I buy the ones with wings. The glue they use seems like it's stronger than other brands too....I never have a problem with them slipping.
